ALTAIR SEMICONDUCTOR NAMED LTE NORTH AMERICA AWARD FINALIST

Company Executive to Speak on VoLTE Panel Discussion at Leading Industry Event

HOD HASHARON, Israel and DALLAS, TX – November 4, 2013 – Altair Semiconductor,  the world’s leading developer of high-performance, single-mode LTE chipsets, today announced that it has been named a finalist for the ‘Best Chipset or Process Product’ award, which will be presented at LTE North America in Dallas, Texas. Altair will also be taking part in a panel discussion examining the current VoLTE landscape at the two day event.

Altair’s FourGee-3100/6202 single-mode LTE chipset was submitted for the award nomination. FourGee-3100/6202 is the world’s first single-mode LTE chipset to be certified by Verizon Wireless’ 4G chipset certification program, and is certified by many other leading LTE carriers around the world.
